Ever wonder what SR-167 would look like, not just in still pictures, but in real-time interaction with other existing roadways?
Transportation consultants Fehr and Peers, as part of the Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board's Tideflats Area Transportation Study, modeled how a completed SR-167 would perform and produced a video.
The video begins with an aerial view of Interstate 5, looking south towards the Fife curve, with the completed SR-167 running horizontally across the screen. The video then swings out over Fife, looking westward towards the SR-167/I-5 interchange and toward the Port of Tacoma. The video then follows the length of SR-167 westward until it merges into SR-509 as it swings around the Tacoma Tideflats.
