Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted Aug. 19, 2015, as follows:

  • The Straddle Carrier Rental Surcharge will remain $0 per hour, effective Sept. 1.​
  • The North Intermodal Yard Lift Surcharge will remain $0 per lift, effective Aug. 22.
  • The Gate Charge Port Operated Terminal Surcharge will remain $0 per lift, effective Aug. 22.

This is based on fuel costs for the Port of Tacoma Straddle Carriers from July 18 to Aug. 14. This will be reviewed again Sept. 18, for notification Sept. 23.
