Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted July 22, 2015, as follows:

  • The Straddle Carrier Rental Surcharge will decrease to $0 per hour, effective Aug. 1.​
  • The North Intermodal Yard Lift Surcharge will decrease to $0 per lift, effective July 25.
  • The Gate Charge, Port Operated Terminal Surcharge will decrease to $0 per lift, effective July 25.

This is based on fuel costs for the Port of Tacoma Straddle Carriers from June 20 through July 17. This will be reviewed again Aug. 14, for notification Aug. 19.
