Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted June 24, 2015, as follows:

  • The Straddle Carrier Rental Surcharge will increase to $0.86 per hour, effective July 1.​
  • The North Intermodal Yard Lift Surcharge will increase to $0.09 per lift, effective June 27.
  • The Gate Charge, Port Operated Terminal Surcharge will increase to $0.09 per lift, effective June 27.

This is based on fuel costs for the Port of Tacoma Straddle Carriers between May 16 and June 19. This will be reviewed again July 17, for notification July 22.
