Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted Sept. 23, 2015, as follows:

  • The Straddle Carrier Rental Surcharge will remain $0 per hour, effective Oct. 1.​
  • The North Intermodal Yard Lift Surcharge will remain $0 per lift, effective Sept. 26.
  • The Gate Charge Port Operated Terminal Surcharge will remain $0 per lift, effective Sept. 26.

This is based on fuel costs for the Port of Tacoma Straddle Carriers from Aug. 15 to Sept. 18. This will be reviewed again Oct. 16, for notification Oct. 21.
