Retail industry trends and an update on the Port’s 10-year strategic plan top the menu at the Port of Tacoma Annual Breakfast May 23.

The two-hour event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center, 1500 Broadway in Tacoma.

Hear about the state of the economy, prospects for U.S. West Coast ports and how technology and consumer demand influence the retail supply chain. Speakers include Walter Kemmsies, chief economist at Moffatt and Nichol, and Lisa LaBruno, senior vice president of retail operations at the Retail Industry Leaders Association.

CEO John Wolfe will also report on the progress tallied in the first year toward the measures of our strategic plan, and we will recognize Summit Award winners.
