Check out this interview by Sam Pace on Comcast Newsmakers, talking about the South Sound Chambers of Commerce Legislative Coalition and their advocacy for a transportation revenue package. Sam does a great job at highlighting the connectivity between infrastructure improvements like SR-167 and the thousands of jobs in the region.
He also reminded lawmakers about the importance of getting back to the negotiating table to resolve difference over the transportation revenue package. "If the Legislature remembers that they came together on a Saturday and passed a package to help Boeing for 50,000 jobs and they can see that there are twice as many jobs just from the SR 167/509 Gateway project," he said, "they can find the solution we need for success not only as a region, but as a state."
