Re-energize yourself at a Steam Plant

Vintage charm without the modern touches. Use your imagination to resurrect a 1920s era Steam Plant as you lounge in a saline pool, with direct connection to the Hylebos Waterway. Please wear a swimsuit when enjoying the pool (life jacket also recommended). No other amenities provided.

Get that real industrial vibe when you enter into this pre-modern warehouse gem. Complete with lead paint and asbestos, it even offers a side of mold growth to tingle the senses. But hurry! This limited time offer expires when the building gets demolished.

Environmental connection

To date, the port has returned more than 420 acres of property with legacy contamination to productive use. We work closely with local, state and federal agencies to ensure these properties have institutional controls in place to protect our environment into the future. The port currently has 24 properties in different stages of the cleanup process; from preliminary investigation to long-term monitoring. While they may not be the best locations for your next vacation, we are working hard to ensure these properties can be utilized for years to come.
