As project supporters understand, investing in the completion of this highway of statewide significance does not result in nothing, but instead, a whole lot of something—80,000 jobs, according to WSDOT.

Why this 1980s pop culture reference? Over the last several months, CASE Construction has been highlighting the critical state of the U.S. transportation network as part of their Dire States Tour. While not headlined by a rock star, they have reminded all of us about how transportation investments are important to Americans.

This morning, they took time out of their busy schedule to call out the important work of SR 167 supporters here in Washington state in a tweet.
