Scott Francis has joined the Port of Tacoma as a real estate manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marine terminal facility management, maintenance and operations.

Francis’ broad experience includes real estate sales and marketing, contract negotiations, property management and new business development.

Prior to joining the Port, Francis served as a local real estate broker, an operations manager for Washington State Ferries, an operations manager for Crowley Marine Services and a vice president of North Star Terminals.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting/business administration from Central Washington University and a master’s degree in business organizational management from the University of La Verne, Calif.
