The City of Tacoma’s installation of a new rail line may impact traffic traveling along Thorne Road in the Port industrial area next month.
The City plans to close a portion of the road between Ross Way and Maxwell Way for two weeks beginning May 5.
Traffic will be able to access Thorne Road from the north and south ends of the street. A signed detour will guide traffic around the construction.
