The following changes will apply to the Port of Tacoma Tariff No.300 effective June 28, 2014:
- Dockage: increase 2%
- Wharfage: increase 2.5%
- Service & Facilities: increase 2.5%
- Storage: increase 3%
- All Handling and Man Hour Rates: current increase 3%; would be revised based on labor contract agreement.
- Truck and Rail loading / unloading for break-bulk: current increase 3%; would be revised based on labor contract agreement.
- Equipment Rental -
- Container Crane (227.030): increase to $809.95
- Twin 20 Spreader (227.040): increase to $883.73
- Container Straddle Carriers (227.050): increase to $171.25
- Other Equipment (227.060-227.130): increase 3%
- Rail Facility Charge -
- Intermodal (669.010 / 669.012): increase to $23.50 per container
- Intermodal (669.020) with origin / destinations points within a four hundred (400) mile radius of the Port of Tacoma: increase to $12.75 per container
- Non-Intermodal Rail (228.100): increase to $23.50 per rail car
- Rail Lift Charge
- North Intermodal Yard (666.010): increase to $67.30 per container
- South Intermodal Yard (666.020): increase to $87.21 per container
- Hourly Security Fee (139.000): increase to $62 per officer per hour.
- Terminal Access Fee (139.101) for non-containerized shipments: increase 3%
- Security Service for Lay Berth Barges (139.100): increase to $443 per 24hr period.
- Loading / Unloading for Domestic Distribution of Vehicles (236.700) -
- Passenger vehicles: $5.69 per vehicle.
- Vehicles with throughput of at least 2,500 units per calendar year: $4.55 per vehicle.
- Commercial vehicles, trucks, agricultural, earth moving & road equipment: $15.86 per 1,000 kg.
- Wharfage (360.200) revision for Automobiles:
- Up to 40,000 units of annual throughput: $10.47 per unit
- Between 40,001 & 60,000 units: $8.42 per unit
- Between 60,001 & 80,000 units: $7.90 per unit
- Above 80,000 units: $7.39 per unit
