How did all those back-to-school supplies get to store shelves? Get a guided behind-the-scenes look at the monster machines that move cargo during a Sept. 24 free bus tour of the Port of Tacoma.

Tour details: Friday, Sept. 24, from 10:30 a.m. to about noon. It begins and ends at the Fabulich Center, 3600 Port of Tacoma Rd.
