The Senate Transportation Committee, in a 10-to-5 vote, last night passed a statewide transportation revenue package that includes over $1.8 billion to complete state routes 167 and 509.

The package includes eleven bills. These include eight policy reform bills, one revenue bill, one spending bill and one bond bill.

Supporters of SR 167 thank Sens. Curtis King, Joe Fain, Steve Hobbs, Marko Liias, Michael Baumgartner, Steve Litzow, Mark Miloscia, Jamie Pederson, Ann Rivers and Tim Sheldon for their courageous vote supporting transportation investments and jobs.

While a few of the policy bills still need approval by the Senate Ways and Means Committee, the bulk of them are now headed to the full Senate for consideration.
